GENERAL AUCTION PROCESS
SB- "starting bid"; this is the lowest amount that is allowed to be offered in the auction.MI- "minimum increase"; this is the lowest increment allowed between bids.AB- "autobuy"; a maximum bid amount, which, when claimed, will automatically end the auction.- typically, bids can be sent in comments or DMs on whichever platform is specified in the auction post. I usually hold auctions on Discord, ToyHouse, Twitter, and Instagram simultaneously.- USD bids only.- the auction ends after I accept an offer, when bids slow down, which is typically two days after no new bids are made. I may, at times, cancel an auction to edit or add to a design before a winner is declared.- I typically take payment via Ko-fi, which is preferred due to lower fees. I also accept PayPal as a backup option.- generally, payment plans are available for bids over 125 USD. details can be discussed before the auction closes. feel free to send me a DM about this, I'm flexible and can work with you to figure out a plan!- holds up to two weeks are generally accepted. your bid will be added as "x amount (with hold)" and anyone who offers to pay the same amount upfront will be prioritized. the art will only be on hold in terms of extending the typical 48 hours I expect payment in and does not mean that you have exclusive access to purchasing the artwork for the duration of the hold.- all YCH (your character here) auctions are "one-shot", or are only used once for a one-of-a-kind final product unless stated otherwise.- when purchasing a design from me, you may change the name or request edits. I never charge for text changes or additions, but any other changes or additions besides minor hue shifts may cost extra. you can request something small or a major upgrade to the reference, but I’m more likely to be able to fit small changes into my schedule. don’t be afraid to ask for something, I love making variations and additions to my designs!- if you purchase an adopt and my commissions are closed, you may still request additional art. if I accept, my listed commission prices will apply.GENERAL COMMISSION PROCESS
- submit a commission form.- if you are selected, I will contact you to confirm the details of your commission.- I typically take payment via Ko-fi, which is preferred due to lower fees. I also accept PayPal as a backup option.- the turnaround time is specified on individual commission forms.- you will receive a sketch WIP to review- I will not continue your commission until this is seen and approved by you. in this phase, I will correct any mistakes I have made on my end that do not follow the visual and verbal instructions provided. anything you did not mention before starting the commission will typically cost extra to change, so make sure the information you send me initially is accurate.- once the sketch is approved, I’ll inform you of what to expect in my next update.- full resolution (~3000 x 3000px @ 300 dpi) png file(s) will be shared via google drive link.BASIC TOS
- payment expected within 24 hrs, but I will wait 48 hrs before moving on to the next project.- you may be blacklisted if you cannot complete the payment, based on the circumstances (this mostly applies to auctions since they are extremely time-sensitive). this does not apply to commissions submitted via form, unless stated otherwise.- commissioner can re-upload the commissioned artwork with credit given (including profile pictures and banners).- artwork cannot be used commercially or claimed as your own unless permission is given (you will either need to pay an extra fee to gain the commercial rights to the image, pay royalties, or both).- refunds are not available unless offered by me or if I am unable to finish your commission.ADOPT TOS
- you may rename, redesign, and change any aspect of the character once it is yours.- the design cannot be used commercially or claimed as your own unless permission is given (you will either need to pay an extra fee to gain the commercial rights to the design, pay royalties, or both).- the same terms stated for commissioned art apply to any image purchased with the adopt.DETAILED TOSIMAGE COPYRIGHT- I, the artist, retain full and exclusive rights to the original artwork. the client may not claim it as their own or use it for anything other than personal use.- all commissioned artwork is for noncommercial purpose only. redistribution of my artwork for use in printed merchandise or as promotion of goods, services or social media pages is prohibited. if you have any questions about this, ask me before commissioning me. if you want to redistribute a drawing already commissioned, please contact me.CONDITIONS FOR REPOSTING- the client has my permission to repost a resized version of the artwork wherever they would like, as long as proper credit is given (as a link or by typing out my username), my watermark/signature remains intact and unaltered, and the largest side of the image does not exceed 1500 pixels. images can be resized upon request, but saving an image from one of my social platforms will work just as well. I prefer for credit to be given when my work is used as a profile picture, with the exception of sites that do not provide a space for a bio.PROHIBITED ACTIONS- use my artwork as references for your own, whether tracing or re-purposing parts of the image.- claiming the artwork as your own.WORKFLOW PROCESS- I work best when given some artistic freedom to create an image based on the characters you provide. I am happy to match a scene or pose that you have in mind, but please allow and expect some variation.- estimated turnaround time in most cases is 1-2 months unless otherwise specified. completion time depends on my queue and the complexity of your commission. if there is an emergency and i can’t complete your commission within that timeframe, I will discuss it with you personally, though this has not been an issue before. if you'd like to pay a rush fee to have it done sooner, you can make an offer to me, and I will let you know if I can accept and how fast I can do it based on the offer.- revisions and edits: if the commission type includes a sketch approval stage, any major changes or revisions must be made at this stage; this includes any significant changes to a character’s pose or body shape, or redrawing parts of the image. depending on the complexity of the change, an extra fee may be applied.- after the sketch has been approved, no major edits or changes will be made. if the commissioner requests additional edits after the approved sketch, a price for the edits may be discussed, or the changes may be declined.- if I, the artist, make any errors in the character design, accessories, or any other visual elements specified in the provided visual references and written descriptions, I will make these edits at no additional cost. please let me know if this happens, I can make mistakes sometimes!- if you do not want me to post your commission online, you must tell me when you order and a private commission fee will be applied.
