TOS

PROCESS
- submit a commission form
- if you are selected, i will contact you to confirm the details of your commission- pay for the commission via ko-fi or paypal- you will recieve a sketch or lineart wip to review- i will not continue your commission until this is seen and approved by you. in this phase, i will correct any mistakes i have made such as character inaccuracies. anything you did not mention before starting the commission likely will not be changed during this phase, so make sure the information you send me initially is accurate. my commissions are based on artistic liberty and you are paying for my style, so most stylistic choices cannot be changed (within reason)- once the sketch is approved, i’ll get the final drawing to you shortly- full resolution (~3000 x 3000px @ 300 dpi) png file(s) will be shared via google drive linkBASIC TOS
- payment expected within 24hrs.
- you may be blacklisted if you cannot complete the payment, based on the circumstances ( this mostly applies to auctions since they are extremely time-sensitive).- commissioner can re-upload the commissioned artwork with credit given (including profile pictures and banners).- artwork cannot be used commercially or claimed as your own unless permission is given (you will either need to pay an extra fee to gain the rights to the image, pay royalties, or both).- refunds are not available unless offered by me.ADOPT TOS
- you may rename, redesign, and change any aspect of the character once it is yours.
- you may not take credit for your adopt’s design.- the same terms stated for commissioned art apply to any image purchased with the adopt.- if you buy a design by me, you will own the rights to the design, but i still hold the copyright on the drawing(s) of the character. the drawing you will get as a reference for your character has the same copyright policy as a usual commissioned piece.DETAILED TOSIMAGE COPYRIGHT- I, the artist, retain full and exclusive rights to the original artwork. the client may not claim it as their own or use it for anything other than personal use.- all commissioned artwork is for noncommercial purpose only. redistribution of my artwork for use in printed merchandise or as promotion of goods, services or social media pages is prohibited. if you have any questions about this, ask me before commissioning me. if you want to redistribute a drawing already commissioned, please contact me.CONDITIONS FOR REPOSTING- the client has my permission to repost a resized version of the artwork wherever they would like, as long as proper credit is given (as a link or by typing out my username), my watermark/signature remains intact and unaltered, and the largest side of the image does not exceed 1500 pixels. images can be resized upon request, but saving an image from one of my social platforms will work just as well. I prefer for credit to be given when my work is used as a profile picture, with the exception of sites that do not provide a space for a bio.PROHIBITED ACTIONS- use my artwork as references for your own, whether tracing or re-purposing parts of the image.- claiming the artwork as your own.WORKFLOW PROCESS- i work best when given some artistic freedom to create an image based on the characters you provide. i am happy to match a scene or pose that you have in mind, but please allow and expect some variation.- estimated turnaround time in most cases is 1-2 months unless otherwise specified. completion time depends on my queue and the complexity of your commission. if there is an emergency and i can’t complete your commission within that timeframe, I will discuss it with you personally, though this has not been an issue before. if you'd like to pay a rush fee to have it done sooner, you can make an offer to me, and I will let you know if I can accept and how fast I can do it based on the offer.- revisions and edits: if the commission type includes a sketch approval stage, any major changes or revisions must be made at this stage; this includes any significant changes to a character’s pose or body shape, or redrawing parts of the image. depending on the complexity of the change, an extra fee may be applied, though this rarely happens.- after the sketch has been approved, no major edits or changes will be made. if the commissioner requests additional edits after the approved sketch, a price for the edits may be discussed, or the changes may be declined.- if I, the artist, make any errors in the character design, accessories, or any other visual elements specified in the provided visual references and written descriptions, I will make these edits at no additional cost. please let me know if this happens!- if you do not want me to post your commission online, you must tell me when you order and a private commission fee will be applied.

Hi, I'm Palm, short for pinepalm- my online pen name. I have an AA degree in fine arts and am currently studying for my BFA in digital art & design (projected 2025). I have a passion for creating art inspired by beautiful things I see in nature, especially nautical designs. Having started my art journey in 2013, I'm also inspired by 2000s nostalgia. I'm very lucky to have found supporters for my deep love for nature and unique creatures and have been working with these clients since 2017. Thanks for stopping by!
